High energy at D-Town VFW…
The second half of our doubleheader weekend at the Downingtown VFW Post 845 was a blast as usual. The energy level gradually built all night- there were a few folks on the dance floor in the first set; more feet hit the floor in the second set; and by the third set the floor was packed and we knocked the roof off. (And lots of our dancers wore themselves out!) And, as always, those not willing to join the frenzy on the dance floor danced and sang at their seats. That kind of enthusiasm energizes us even more.
Many of those in attendance were our friends and regular fans- some of whom had partied with us the night before. (We got to celebrate Donna W's birthday again!) Now that's what we call a great appreciation of what we do as a band. We are so thankful for that level of support- and all the support we receive.
We're off next weekend and we finish our 2025 schedule on December 19th at the Marchwood Tavern in Exton. It's been a great run this year and that will be a great place to put a wrap it up.
We hope to see you on the 19th. In the meantime stay safe and healthy and be kind to yourself and one another. And enjoy the holiday season. And, as always, keep on rockin."
